One day course - Montañita

Prices:

Designed for travelers, our Spanish course for one day can offer you the basic skills to enjoy your adventure in Ecuador.

This program consist in one full day course that includes seven hours of instruction. Four hours of it at the school learning vocabulary, most typical phrases, answers and questions and three hours of practicing on live situations. Students will go out with the teacher to put in practice all learned visiting markets, taking the buses, buying goods and discovering a little bit of the tourist attractions.
You can take this program with a private instructor or also decide to take this program in group basis if you are traveling with more people (maximum three participants per group).

Learning materials with vocabulary, phrases
Book of survival Spanish to reinforce and improve your skills
Touristic guide of the city
Transportation with public buses

Montañita - Spanish & Surf

Montañita is one of the best places for surfers as there are consistent waves all year round. The waves are very manageable at low tide for beginners, and are bigger and more powerful at high tide for experienced surfers.

Our specially crafted Beginners Course will give you the skills needed to safely begin your love affair with the waves. We have a comprehensive two week structured curriculum which will soon have you understanding surfing terms, handling your board, choosing your wave, and of course most importantly getting you on your feet, all with an emphasis on safe surfing.

Board rental + beach transfer
If you are already an established surfer or just need to practice you can rent one of our boards and join our surf class without instruction. Board rental is charged per week with discounts available for multiple weeks and beach transfer is charged per day.

Montañita - Spanish & Dive

Most of the wonderful beauty of Ecuador can be found under the sea. We offer different PADI courses that you can combine with Spanish classes. The most common certifications are: Open water; Advanced Open Water, Rescue course and Dive Master.

Explore the sea like nowhere else. The Pacific Ocean is home to several aquatic wildlife treasures, where you can see a great amount of fish (Sergeant Major, Scrawled fly fish, puffer fish, flute mouth, hog fish, butterfly fish, cornet fish, morays, moray eels, angelfish, barber fish, box fish, surgeon fish, trigger fish and parrot fish), different types of rays and if you are lucky enough you may spot seahorses, turtles and small sharks.

You can combine private Spanish lessons all week long with diving lessons. Course times depend on the certification, some courses are during the weekday mornings while others are in the weekends. If you are a beginner, first you will have professional training in the school’s pool, and when you are ready, you will be able to go to larger waters.

Montañita - Spanish & Yoga

Where can you find a better way than to practice Yoga; in a place with delightful weather and the great sound of the sea? The answer: Montañita Spanish and Yoga Program.

After or before Spanish classes you will take Yoga lessons. To enhance your experience, Niqui the yoga teacher gives classes at sunrise (6:30 – 7:45) before Spanish classes and after class (17:00 - 18:30), so you can witness the beautiful sunset. Yoga lessons are taught on the roof of the school where you can have the best view of Montañita and the beach.
