A specialized course to prepare students for the internationally recognized D.E.L.E. exam of Spanish proficiency.    

The D.E.L.E. Exam—Diploma de Español como Lengua Extranjera (Spanish as a Foreign Language Diploma)—is prepared and evaluated under the auspices of the University of Salamanca and the Instituto Cervantes of the Spanish Government.  It is universally recognized as the exam of Spanish proficiency, and is a standard requirement for anyone wishing to study in Spanish-speaking universities or work in Spanish-speaking companies, organizations or government offices.

Those interested in taking the exam may do so in Quito, or in any one of hundreds of exam centers around the world, at the times established by el Instituto Cervantes: twice a year for Basic, Intermediate and Superior levels.     

AGS has ample material designed specifically to prepare students to take the exam at all levels.  Amongst our resources, we have official D.E.L.E. workbooks, exercises, cassettes, and practice exams.  The D.E.L.E. Preparation Program provides students the opportunity to take at least two complete practice exams, to be evaluated and discussed with his/her professor, before the test date.  Our students have gone on to achieve D.E.L.E. Diplomas at the Basic, Intermediate and Superior levels.
